The STM wet clutches use an intricate patented system already used on superbikes featuring ball bearings, ramps and STM's revolutionary "EVOLUZIONE" spring, Manufactured to the highest specification from iron and 7075 aluminium, fully anodised for durability. The STM clutch automatically disengages as the back wheel tries to lock, preventing the rear wheel skidding and letting the rider concentrate on getting round a corner as fast as physically possible without having to slip the clutch manually. The clutch then re-engages instantly as soon as power is applied.
