STM slipper clutch used in WSB and AMA championship. This slipper clutch is designed to eliminate rear-wheel chatter/lock-up and the resulting chassis instability that occurs upon aggressive downshifting, STM’s patented ball and ramp slipper clutches reduce engine braking to make tap-dancing gear changers into smooth operators - smoothness being the key to safe and fun riding, both on track and road. In addition the STM slipper clutches offer increased clutch life, reduced clutch-lever effort and greater sensitivity in low-traction conditions.

Product description

The STM wet clutches use an intricate patented system already used on superbikes featuring ball bearings, ramps and STM's revolutionary "EVOLUZIONE" spring, Manufactured to the highest specification from iron and 7075 aluminium, fully anodised for durability. The STM clutch automatically disengages as the back wheel tries to lock, preventing the rear wheel skidding and letting the rider concentrate on getting round a corner as fast as physically possible without having to slip the clutch manually. The clutch then re-engages instantly as soon as power is applied. Made in Italy. During the fitting you can use your original discs and spacers. About F4 750 you have to use discs and spacers of F4 1000 S.
